Local Schools sending classes to tour interpretive stations. Volunteers to guide students and man
stations needed! Please contact us if

– 10:00pm Registration Open Camps set up
Campaign camps may set up in
fields adjacent to fairgrounds.
NOTE: (Boy Scout Camporee also arriving and
setting up on opposite side of fairgrounds Fri. evening)

PM till 9:00 PM -- Reenactor Buffet Supper at the Headquarters Building (Bring own plate/utensils)
8:00PM
– Volunteer Provost Guards collect draftees and deliver for induction.
9:00
PM – Meeting for reenactors wishing to help with living history interpretive
stations for Boy Scouts or for downtown scenarios – at Grandstand. There will be several scenarios for units
or individuals to choose if they wish to participate in scout program or
downtown program, or bring your own demonstration or scenario.
9:00PM
– CURFEW IN EFFECT FOR ALL SCOUTS.
Scouts restricted to Scout camp areas. Please direct scouts to return to their camps if they are in
your campsites. Notify Provost if
necessary.

– All Quiet please. All Scouts IN OWN
TROOP CAMPSITE.
No
Scouts will be allowed in Reenactor areas after 9:00PM. Those out past curfew subject to arrest by
Provost and remand to Camporee staff.

Reenactors man stations and Reenactor guides prepare for scouts
9:00 AM -- Gates open. Camps open to the
public.

9:00 AM to Noon Living History in camps and on
Fairgrounds (Boy Scout groups and the
public will be touring camps and stations learning about the Civil War) Volunteers from re-enacting community
wishing to assist in interpretive stations or as guides for scout groups are
needed
10:00 AM – Officer’s
Call – 4-H Building
11:00 AM – Drill Practice, all units, all
branches
12:30PM – All units assemble for safety
inspections
1:00 till ? -- Battle on the main
battlefield.
2:30 PM – 4:00PM
Ladies’ Tea at Angelica Inn downtown (Transportation available)
2:30 - 3:00 – Scout Battle on Fairgrounds Field
(reenactor volunteers to help direct scouts welcomed).

grandstand (Chaplain John Hogan, 52nd NC, presiding).
Noon to 12:30PM – Parade – downtown (Scout
Awards presentations at end of parade)
1:00 PM – All units assemble for safety
inspection
2:00- till ? -- Battle on the main
battlefield.
2:00 PM till -- Living history, public tours camps.
4:00 PM -- Event closes to the
public.
