Allegany History Festival & Civil War Encampment September 19TH, 20TH and 21ST, 2008

	Location: Angelica, NY "A Town Where History Lives" Date: September 19-20-21, 2008 Sponsors: 136th NYVI, Co. K, and several Angelica community organizations NO REGISTRATION FEES! BOUNTIES PAID!
	You are cordially invited to attend the 2008 Allegany History Festival and Civil War Weekend. This is our fifth year hosting a Civil War living history event in Angelica, NY, and we are expanding again this year to additional activities and amenities. All impressions of military and civilian reenactors and your scenarios are welcome.

Due to significant local support, there will be NO REGISTRATION FEES for reenactors or period sutlers. Activities include Living History, encampment and two battles. The community is planning a parade and other downtown activities, and is arranging period transportation between the camps and downtown as well.  A delicious FREE reenactor buffet supper is served Friday evening, Saturday supper and two Breakfasts available as well.   Night Fire, Ladies' Tea, Period Dance, other events as well. Hay, Straw, wood, ice and other usual amenities provided. Modern sanitary facilities available on fairgrounds and portable facilities as well.

Bounty paid for first 3 artillery pieces registered & taking field on each side. Bounties paid for mounted cavalry. We will again be offering a bounty for all branches

Pre-registration required for bounty and other amenities.

Authentic garrison and campaign camps in beautiful natural condition area. Modern camping (no hookups) available in separate area.
